3D seems to be the latest craze in the electronics industry, but now it seems to be making its way to home design. New York architecture firm TsAO & McKOWN is responsible for this beautiful 4,500sq.-ft. home located in Long Island. The interior design is unlike any I’ve seen before with the amazing use of large windows and perfectly accented furniture along the outstretched walls.
From the offset, the house looks fairly small, but once you shift angles, you’ll be able to see its immaculate space. Although only two stories in its entirety, the Eastern Long Island home boasts an amazing “woodsy” feel with beautiful trees surrounding it. It almost reminds me of a home you might see in the real-world version of Mario Brothers.
The modern, minimalistic styles engraved into this house’s symmetry creates a style that is not often found in these locations. Although, the cube somewhat resembles a tree house of sorts, it’s sleek design and lofty interior, defines it more as a downtown London flat. The only thing I would change on the exterior is the entrance. It doesn’t feel as though there is a well defined entrance that cultivates an authentic home. This can be a unique positive, however an entrance never hurts.
